MsV...The pot on the service door looks like one of those mid to late 40s Club aluminium 2 or 3 quart pots. I have a several and 2 dutch ovens of the same brand. Pete

No way!

2000! that's at least 1500 too much! Be patient enough to wait out this seller. Tell them that it's only worth 2000 3/4 to fully restored. Offer them 250 cash if it needs typical inside degreasing, valves need RE-greasing, oven top below left burners is full of grease and schmutz, service cabinet needs painting due to rust, oven needs degreasing, etc, etc, etc.

The B is the best, combining usefulness and funkyness. But only offer 500 max if it is has been obsessivly cleaned and maintained inside and out and the thermostat is working and it is really really clean and operational, the folding top spring sits upright against back when stowed (spring is not broken), the oven door springs are not broken (the door feels light, not heavy, when fully open), blah, blah... you get my drift.

Joe, schmutz? Oy vay! Not a phrase one hears too often in Rochester! But I agree with you. I paid 560 for my stove and definitely went on the high end of the scale but it was in good shape, had the safety system and took very little to get it up and running.
Did I overpay? Perhaps. But I love the stove and have no regrets. $2000? No way.
